Elves, Gardens and Art!

Dates: June 26–30
Time: 9am–Noon
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
Is the Elf in the Gardens? Let your imagination be your guide. Design and create an Elf House, garden painting, and more.

The Art of Science

Dates: June 26–30
Time: 1–4pm
Ages: 6-12

Let’s have fun with science! Create with paper mâché, wire wrapping art, paper making & lots of surprises

Kids Ukulele & Singing

Dates: July 3, 5–8 (no camp July 4th)
Time: 9am–Noon
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
Have fun playing the ukulele and singing! Performance on the last day of camp (7/8).  Bring your own ukulele or reserve ahead from the Chaffee Instrument Lending Library.

Let’s Get Cooking — FULL

Dates: July 10–12 (3 days)
Time: 9am–1pm
Ages: 8+
Cost: $155
Let your taste buds go on a creative journey! Students will learn how to bake and cook in an actual restaurant and bakery.

Location: Cluckin’ Café, Pittsford
Minimum enrollment: 5; Maximum enrollment: 10

Clay Creations, 2-week camp

Week 1 Dates: July 10–13 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 2 weeks)
Week 2 Dates: July 17–20 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 2 weeks)
Time: 1–4pm
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $205 (one-time fee that includes both week 1 and 2)
Roll up your sleeves and have fun as we make several projects out of clay. Campers must do both weeks to have completed work.

Mexican Cooking 2-day Camp for Grades 7 to 12

Dates: July 17 and 18
Time: 9am–Noon
GRADES 7 to 12
Cost: $140
Focus will be on cooking with the Mexican cuisine. Camp takes place at an actual restaurant and bakery.

Big Art

Dates: July 17–21
Time: 9am–Noon
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
Have fun creating BIG ART for a mural to be placed near the Chaffee! Be sure to dress for the outdoors and bring snack/water bottle.

Drawing & Painting “Rutland Through Your Eyes”

Dates: July 24-28
Time: 9am–Noon
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
This fun camp will be creating artwork of “Rutland Through Your Eyes” which will be displayed at the New Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum Downtown from August until Mid-October! Campers will have a few walking field trips (Wonderfeet and Rutland) for inspiration as they create their art. Some pieces they can take home as well.

Musical Theater – ALL DAY CAMP

Dates: July 31–Aug. 4
Time: 9am–4pm (hour break for lunch)
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $285
The world’s a stage and there’s music playing! Campers will explore the world of theater through a musical lens, working with dance and singing to create characters and hone performance skills. This camp ends with a showcase where campers will present a musical performance for friends and family. .

Robots! Robots! Robots!

Dates: Aug. 7–11
Time: 1–4pm
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
All about Robots! Build a robot buddy from recycled materials, as well as robot games and dancing!

Drawing our World

Dates: Aug. 14–18
Time: 1–4pm
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
Campers will create a book of their own to fill with sketches of their world. We will explore the principals of drawing and learn how to add color to our art. Campers will experiment with drawing what they see around them.

Fantasy Drawing & Painting

Dates: Aug. 21–25
Time: 9am–Noon
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140
Discover fantasy art (magic, adventure, fantastical characters, otherworldly creatures) that can be both strange and wonderful with cartooning, manga, abstract and more.

The Art of Storytelling & Writing

Dates: Aug. 21–25
Time: 1–4pm
Ages: 6–12
Cost: $140

Get Creative with Storytelling and writing! Campers will learn the techniques of writing in a fun and interactive setting. The instructor will use multiple writing prompts with both individual and group discussion. Attendees will find inspiration and creativity with integrated movement and mindfulness practices.
