My story begins in a friends attic. There we found an old messy oil painting kit. Wow! I was hooked. Then, Wow! again, when another friend insisted I started woodcarving, been wood carving ever since. Yes, my birds are cut out of a block of wood and carved, I am often asked if they are purchased molds and just painted.

Painting in most mediums, and different styles, such as tole, furniture decorative painting, some murals, and glass, people and animal portraits, sort of a “Jack of all trades” painter, I keep growing and learning.

Getting lost in time carving, I especially enjoy carving. Doing mainly songbirds, raptors and wildfowl, I marvel at the variety of their creation. Canes, and relief carvings are fun to carve. Speaking of fun, check out the recycled golf clubs! Christine [email protected]
