SET UP
Friday
When you arrive at the park to setup please come to the Gazebo, in the center of the park to get your show information and vendor ID Badges. Be on the lookout for volunteers, Chaffee staff, and event coordinators, they are there to help.
Unloading Help
We understand that unloading in Main Street park can have its challenges, so we have set up volunteers to help you (if needed) If you need help, just let us know when you check in and we will do what we can to make this an easy experience for you. Please do not drive into the park or on the walkways around the park with your vehicle.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY – FESTIVAL HOURS
Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Exhibitors must be set-up and ready for the public by 9:30am and remain until close of each day.
It is very important to move your car during the show hours to provide for customer parking near the park. We ask you to not park on Court Square to leave those spaces for patrons.
If you need a break at any time during show hours please call the Rapid Response Number (802-353-6605) and a volunteer will come to sit your booth or help you with any needs you may have
VEDNDOR AND VOLUNTEER PARTY
Saturday evening
To show our appreciation to you and our many volunteers we hope that you will join us at the Chaffee Art Center for an after AIP Happy Hour. Live musi,c light refreshments & drinks. Mingle with fellow vendors and meet some of the volunteers and staff that make this event possible.
CHAFFEE BUCKS
This year the Chaffee with again be offering lucky patrons and vendors “Chaffee Bucks,” that can be spent with any craft or food vendor. We are doing this to increase the opportunity for sales at your booth.
Visiting patrons entering the park will receive a ticket to win “Chaffee Bucks”. A drawing will be held at the top of every hour to pick two winners. Patrons that come to your booth with their “Chaffee Buck” will be able to use it for any product. As a vendor, at the end of the day just bring us the Chaffee Bucks you have collected and we will reimburse you in cash.
PARKING REGULATIONS
Parking rules must be strictly adhered to as the show is held in the middle of the City of Rutland and parking is limited. The City of Rutland and the Art in the Park Committee therefore insist that after exhibitors set up, you move your vehicle off Court Square. You may not dive on the grass or the asphalt walkways.
We will monitor the vehicles parked on Court Square and will ask you to move your car if we find you are parked there. We have secured vendor parking at various locations. Details will be in your packet at check-in.
RAPID RESPONSE NUMBER
If you have any need at all, please call this number (802-353-6605) If you need a bathroom break, need to go to your car for more supplies or need to break a large bill, just let us know, we are here to help you.
TAKE DOWN
Sunday starting at 4pm.
Please do not drive your car into the park, ask a Chaffee volunteer if you need help loading your vehicle.
SECURITY
We provide overnight security Friday and Saturday to protect your work. We have worked with this same security company for many years. They are very familiar with the city, the park and this event.
PARKING
We have secured various locations for vendor parking. We understand that this may not be as convenient as parking very close to the park, but the more options you leave for the patrons, the better chance you have of selling your work.
AFTER EVENT SURVEY
We will send you a survey by email after the event. There will be just a few questions that we hope you will answer honestly. The survey should not take more than a few minutes. We will use the information collected to make our future Art in the Parks a better experience for you and the visitors.
