Our Annual Member Exhibit & Holiday Shoppe is an all member show celebrating the talented artists in our communities whose works are on display and for sale throughout our 1890’s mansion until January 8th. Visitors will experience the beauty of the arts and the one-of-a-kind handmade treasures for gifting this holiday season. There are Walls of Smalls … a wonderful array of small pieces of fine art perfect for that special gift to someone or yourself! Plus, a variety of other small gift items for those on your holiday list. All visitors will receive a special Ann Clark Ltd. Gingerbread House Cookie Cutter customized especially for the Chaffee. Be sure to stop by soon, as there are a limited quantity for first 200 guests.
There is no charge for admittance. A donation would be greatly appreciated. In the spirit of the season of giving, we hope you can bring in a non-perishable food item donation.
This year, we are going to have the Holiday Exhibit & Shoppe online reflecting what is in the Chaffee. Convenient for the shopper and art enthusiast if they are unable to come in.
As part of our Holiday celebration, Saturday, December 5th will have many activities:
- The Gingerbread Contest Open House will be from Noon to 2pm. See details below. Please spread the word … we want this to be the best Gingerbread Display ever! We will also be showing it on Facebook, Instagram and more.
- We will be drawing the winner of the Persi Nevarez painting.
- The exterior of the Chaffee mansion will be decorated in holiday splendor by the Rutland Garden Club.
Another added feature will be an outdoor Winter Garden bathed in white lights, snow and the arts. Still in the planning process, the idea is to draw people to the Chaffee, and to provide outdoor art for all.
