Beyond Bars: Reimagining Justice and Healing in Vermont is a film made by 4 Vermont women (25 yrs old–55 years old) about Vermonters for all Vermonters. This film invites folks to explore how we are understanding the visible struggle of so many people in our communities. The Filmmakers hope this offers a space for us to grapple and engage with the decisions of how and what we spend our collective tax dollars on in order to build stronger, healthier communities. The film shares the conversations they had with many folks on the frontlines of the human/social service field, and those folks directly impacted. After the 80 minute film, stay for discussion.
