Digital Photography and Basic Image Editing: This one day beginner's workshop will focus on demonstrating the many features of the amazing but sometimes overwhelmingly complicated digital cameras. You will also learn basic image editing techniques with PhotoShop. Bring your digital camera and paper manual. Basic computer literacy is required but no PhotoShop experience is necessary. Professional photographer/instructor Jim Robinson spends the day working individually with each student and their cameras.

10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with 1/2 hour break for lunch $60 members/$70 non-members

Rug Hooking You've seen the show, now learn the technique. Instructor Susan Mackey will work with beginning "hookers" in this traditional art craft. Two, 2 1/2 hour sessions, March 19 and April 2. $45 members/$50 non-members plus $35 materials fee.

Figure Drawing: All levels, no instruction, live nude models will be used. Four, two hour sessions. March 17, 24, 31 and April 7. $50 members/$55 non-members

Altered Books Instructor Andrea Bloomer. Think of these books as small, easy to handle paintings. Anything you can do with a painting you can do with a used book. A very creative way to spend your time. Four, three hour sessions. March 25, April 1, 8, 15. $110 members/$120 non-members

Print Making Instructor Andrea Bloomer. Monotypes are easy prints to make. Paint on plexiglas until you are satisfied. Lay a piece of paper on top and run through a press. There is more to it than that, and Andrea will show you how. Two, two hour sessions. March 26 and 27. $36 members/$40 non-members
